Personal Information: Nancy is a South Texas girl, a native of Corpus Christi. She moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas and met her husband there. They moved to Connecticut, opened a commercial carpet business, and stayed for fifteen years. Their first date was a fishing trip to Port O'Connor where Nancy caught her first redfish! She was hooked and fishing has been a common thread in their relationship over the years from Lake Travis to Long Island Sound, and finally back down to the Texas coast after she and her husband sold their business in 2001. They picked Rockport not only for the fantastic fishing, but also because her father lived in Key Allegro and her family had been vacationing here since the early 1980's. She fell in love with Rockport then and has loved it ever since. Her three children and ten grandchildren love to come back often to visit.
